National Grief Awareness Day

Our loved ones never really leave us. This is the message I receive every single day from spirits on the Other Side. On National Grief Awareness Day, take comfort in knowing that you’re not alone and that above all, your departed loved ones want you to live!  Loss is one of life’s greatest sorrow, and feeling grief is part of the process of healing, finding closure and rediscovering joy. Take comfort in knowing that on the other side of darkness is LIGHT and your departed loved ones want to be remembered by celebrating their life.

Be The Light

If someone close to you is grieving, take a moment today to Be The Light. Sit with them in their discomfort. Hold a safe space for them to talk, scream or cry out their feelings. Let them go deep and dark as you remain loving, grounded and LIGHT.

We often feel helpless or powerless when people we love are grieving, and it’s natural to want to “fix” or rescue a loved one from grief. Resist the urge to chase darkness away. Grief needs to take its course. Each of us grieve in our own way and in our own time. Respect that every individual’s grief is part of their larger spiritual path; there is likely a profound lesson underneath the hurt and loss that will eventually be revealed. Once your loved one moves through and out of the darkness and back into the light, they will be stronger and wiser. And you will be right there to embrace them.
